Home School

  • Once your registration is completed, sign up for each session. You only can sign up for a week in advance. (Mon-Sun)

  • You can update your weekly schedule.

  • Download WhatsApp! We communicate through it. Each registered tutor will be added to one of our WhatsApp tutor group chats.

  1. Complete your registration. 

  2. You will receive an "AAH Account Approval" email. Click on the link to select subjects, add/update your schedule for tutoring (Eastern time), and choose your tutor. 

  3. You might not be able to see a list of tutors to choose from. We match student and tutor by subjects and their availabilities.

  4. Both student and tutor will receive an email "AAH Tutoring Schedule Confirmation" with the tutor and student info. 

  5. Accept the Google Meet invitation link from your tutor for each session.

  • If your tutor does not send you an invitation link, try reaching out to your tutor by email. Then let us know if you can’t connect to your tutor in our tutoring WhatsApp group chat so we can help!

  • Wait 30 minutes after the scheduled start time for your session if the student doesn’t join the Meet link.

  1. Create a Google Account - we use Google Meet for sessions.

  2. If you are using a mobile device, download either the Meet or Gmail app on your mobile device to join the video call from your teacher.

  3. Download WhatsApp so we can add you to one of our WhatsApp group chats.

  4. You will get your assigned teacher’s info through your WhatsApp group chat before each session.

  5. You can directly reach out to your teacher through WhatsApp if you have any questions or concerns about your session.

  6. You must leave your camera and microphone on during sessions.


 

How to Connect with Your Teacher

 

When Using a Computer:

  1. Go to mail.google.com and navigate to the invitation.

  2. Click on the invite link.

  3. If the link does not work, copy the code from the Meet invitation and paste it into the box on the Google Meet website. Once you have entered the code into this box, press the blue join button to the right of the code to continue.

  4. Join the call. Clicking on a link or entering a code will open the video call in a new tab on your web browser. On this page, you will be able to turn your camera and microphone off before entering the call, but make sure to keep them on. Once you are ready, press Join now to enter the call. 

 

When Using a Mobile Device:

 

  1. If you are using a mobile device, make sure you have downloaded either the Meet or Gmail app on your mobile device to join the video call from your teacher.

  2. Go to mail.google.com and navigate to the invitation.

  3. Once you have found the Meet invitation, you should see a link to join the video call. Click on this link.

  4. If the link does not work, you can copy the meeting code from the invitation and paste it in the Meet app where it says Join with a code at the top of the screen. Once you have entered the code, press Join to enter the video call.

  1. Create a Google Account - AAH! uses Google Meet for sessions.

  4. Get your assigned teacher’s phone number and save it as a contact in WhatsApp.

  5. You can directly reach out to your teacher through WhatsApp to reschedule/cancel your session or ask any questions.

  6. Use Google Translate (https://translate.google.com) when communicating with your teacher. Select your language to translate from and select English to translate to. Copy and paste the English text into your WhatsApp chat with your tutor.

  7. You must turn on your camera and microphone during sessions.

American Assimilation Helpine! (aah!) 은 미국 원어민 학생들이 운영하는 미국에 정식으로 등록된 501(C)(3) 국제 교육 비영리 단체로 2017년에 설립되었습니다. 2017년 당시 7 학년 한국 원어민 학생 이었던  Elly Kang (Marist School 12학년) 이 시리아 내전으로 인해 학교 교육을 전혀 받지 못하고 경제적 자원이 거의 없는 가정의 난민 학생들을 방문하여 공부를 가르치기 시작했습니다. 엘리가 여러 가정의 학생들을 정기적으로 방문하여 학교 생활에 잘 적응 할수있도록 돕는과정에서 입소문을 통해 엘리수업을 받기위해 대기하는 학생수가 기하급수적으로 많아져서 엘리가 Abhisheck Kona (a freshman at Ricw University) , Abhinav Kona (a freshman at Rice University) 와 함께 마리에타 지역에서 같이 교육봉사 할수 있는 학생들을 모집하여 AAH!를 공동 설립했습니다.

 

AAH! 는 미국에서 엄선된 학생 선생님들이 전세계의 저소득층 학생들, 이민자 가정의 학생들, 난민 학생들 및 노숙자 학생들에게 무료로 1대1 과외를 제공하기 위해 최선을 다하고 있습니다. 교육에 대한 구조적인 불평등을 완화하고 모든 어린이들에게 평등한 학업 기회를 제공하며, 부의 격차를 줄이는 데 중점을 두고 있습니다. AAH! "Education 4 All" 프로그램 을 통해서  미국 청소년들 과 세계 각지역의 청소년들로 구성된 AAH! 17 개의 Local Chpaters 를 전 세계 선교사님들과 연결 해서 세계 각국의 저소득층 현지 학생들에게 무료 영어 교육 과 코딩 프로그램을 AAH! 인턴십을 통해 수업을 하고 있습니다. 예를 들어 우리 자원 봉사자들은 파라과이 파트너 학교 (Colegia Cristiano Arte)에서 정규 영어 수업을 하고 있으며 브라질에 있는 4개의 파트너 교회 (Igreja Metodista de Manaus, Igreja Metodista Novo Israel, Igreja Metodista Mutirao, Igreja Metodista) 를 통해서 브라질 학생들에게 영어를 가르칩니다. 한국, 일본, 말레이시아, 캄보디아, 인도, 루마니아, 싱가포르, 태국, 콜롬비아 학생들에게도 영어와 코딩수업을 하고있습니다. AAH!는 미국의 17개 주와 전세계의 12 개국으로 그 범위를 확장했으며, 2017 년 부터 700명 이상의 봉사자들과 함께 전 세계의 1000명 이상의 학생들에게 큰 도움이 되어 왔습니다.

 

각 학생들이 공부하기 원하는 과목을 선택 할수 있으며 그 과목들을 특별히 잘 가르치는 선생님들과 수업 할수있도록 관리 하고 있습니다. 선생님들은 온라인 수업을 하고 있으나 AAH! Learning Labs 가 있는 지역에 거주하고 있는 선생님들은 직접 학생들을 만나서 수업을 하고 있습니다. 학생들은 학교에서 공부하는 과목 이나 숙제 그리고 시험준비등을 선생님 과 1 대 1 로 수업 할수 있으며 선생님들은 AAH! 의 자체 커리큘럼 이나 풍부한 자료들을 이용하여 학생들이 가장 필요로 하는 수업을 받을 수 있습니다.

빠르게 성장 하고 있는 컴퓨터 부서 에서는 STEM 교육에 뒤쳐져 있는 소외된 저소득층 학생들에게 동등한 기회를 제공 하는데 중점을 두고 있스니다. 스템 과목 으로는 Scrach, HTML/CSS, Python, Java 와 key programming concept 같은 컴퓨터 프로그램 랭귀지를 가르치고 있으며 학교에서 배우는 핵심 교과목 으로는 영어, 수학, 과학, 사회학, 스페인어, 프랑스어, 미술 그리고 SAT, ACT 시험 준비 를 가르치고 있습니다.

 

현재 AAH!는 대통령 봉사자 상을 수여하는 인증 기관 으로 가장 뛰어나고 꾸준히 많은 시간의 봉사를 해온 자원봉사자들 에게 대통령 자원 봉사 상을 수여 하고 있습니다. 미국내에 거주하는 학생들은 매 주 일요일 오후 5시부터 6시 이스턴 타임에 봄학기, 가을학기  수업을 하고 있습니다. 국제 학생들은 1년 내 영어 수업 과 코딩 수업이 AAH! 인턴 선생님들이 주말에 수업을 하고 있습니다. 

 

AAH! 는 교육봉사 이외에 국제 자원 봉사자 와의 연결, 도움이 필요한 학생들에기 무료 컴퓨터 기부, 학용품 기부, 미국 적십자사와  연례 헌혈 행사 개최, 입원한 어린이/재향 군인및 노민에게 카드 만들어서 보내기, 분기별로 지역 거리를 청소등 매년 많은 사회 봉사를 하고 있습니다.

Misión 4- Educación para todos

¡AAH! fue fundada en 2017 por tres medios
estudiantes de escuela en Atlanta, GA - Elly Kang (estudiante en la Escuela Marist), Abhishek Kona (un estudiante de primer año en la Universidad de Rice), y Abhinav
Kona (estudiante de primer año en la Universidad de Rice). Elly Kang comenzó dando clases particulares a estudiantes refugiados de familias que tenía poco o nada acceso a la educación debido al conflicto sirio y muy pocos recursos económicos. Con el paso del tiempo, se corrió la voz y ella visitaba regularmente a los estudiantes en varios diferentes hogares para ayudarlos a asimilar
a su entorno escolar. Abhishek y
Abhinav Kona estaban involucrados en la educación servicios de voluntariado desde el comienzo de escuela intermedia. Como la demanda en todo el comunidad creció, estos tres estudiantes co-fundó AAH!

¡AAH! Es una organización dirigida por estudiantes establecida en 2017. es sin fines de lucro y fundada en los Estados Unidos. Es dedica a proporcionar de forma gratuita y tutoría personalizada uno a uno. Nuestro misión se centra en mitigar los daños estructurales desigualdades, creando igualdad académica
oportunidades para todos los niños, y reducir la riqueza y las brechas de género. ¡AAH! ofrece su servicios a personas de bajos ingresos, inmigrantes, refugiados,

Por ejemplo, nuestros voluntarios gestionan el plan de estudios de inglés en un socio paraguayo escuela (Colegio Cristiano Arte), enseñar Inglés para estudiantes brasileños de nuestros cuatro
iglesias asociadas en Brasil (Igreja Metodista de Manaos, Igreja Metodista Novo Israel, Igreja Metodista Mutirao e Igreja Metodista Fonte de Agua Viva), y enseñar Inglés y codificación a Corea del Sur, japonés, malasio, indio, camboyano,
rumana, singapurense, tailandesa y
estudiantes colombianos durante todo el año. En consecuencia, desde sus inicios, ¡AAH! posee extendió su alcance a diecisiete estados y doce países, impactando a más de 1000 estudiantes en todo el mundo con más de 700 tutores y
diecisiete capítulos locales a lo largo del camino.

Las necesidades específicas de cada alumno. ¡AAH! se adapta a las solicitudes personalizadas de los padres para atender las necesidades de sus hijos, como su
materia preferida y tutor. Los tutores utilizan el muchos recursos en línea disponibles para ayudar los estudiantes dominan conceptos mientras reciben horas de servicio comunitario de sus escuelas. Esta configuración excepcionalmente efectiva de tutoría sesiones proporciona una gran oportunidad para libremente trabajar con los maestros para comprender mejor temas difíciles.

¡AAH! es una organización certificadora de la Premio al Servicio Voluntario del Presidente, por lo que reconocer a nuestros voluntarios más destacados. Las sesiones regulares en los EE. UU. tienen lugar cada

Debido a la pandemia de COVID-19, nuestras sesiones tienen opciones presenciales y virtuales. ¡AAH! laboratorios de aprendizaje. La mayoría de las sesiones están sobre Google Meet, el nuevo
Iglesia de Atlanta y Iglesia Luterana de la Encarnación ofreció sus instalaciones para
tutorías presenciales.

AAH! 는 전세계 와 전 미국에서 소외된 학생들을 돕는데 열정적인 고등학생 학생 리더들이 자신이 다니는 학교에서  AAH! Local Chapter 를 만드는데 적극적 으로 모든지원을 아끼지 않고 있습니다. 현재 지원서를 받고 있습니다. 관심이 있는 학생들은 연락 주시기 바랍니다.

  • 특별히 미국 대학에 진학을 목표로 하고 있는 한국 학생들이  AAH! Local Chapter 를 본인이 다니는 학교나 지역 봉사로 설립 하게 되면 모든과정을 적극적 으로 지원 할것 이며 지원 하는 대학에 추천서 작성을 해드릴수 있습니다.

AAH！は2017年にアメリカネイティブの学生が作った非営利団体で、世界中の低所得層の学生に無料で英語の個人指導をしています。 しかし、ネイティブ英語の授業をぜひ聞きたい学生であれば、この機会をお見逃さないでAAH！ Eメールへ連絡してください。

 

  AAH！ 学生は、全米の優秀な学生先生たちとの個人指導を毎週一時間ずつGoogle MeetとZoomを利用したオンライン授業にて進みます。

米国と国際高校の放課後のクラブです

 

 AAH！は、世界中の全米国で疎外された学生を助けるのに情熱的な高校生のリーダーたちが、

自分が通う学校でAAH！放課後クラブ作りを積極的にすべての支援を惜しまないです。

 

現在応募を受けていますので興味がある学生は、ご連絡ください。

 

 特に米国の大学への進学を目指している日本の学生がAAH！クラブを本人が通う学校や地域奉仕に設立されると、すべてのプロセスを積極的に支援するものでありサポートしている大学に推薦書の作成を差し上げることができます。

AAH! este o organizație non-profit înființată în 2017 condusă de studenți din SUA. Suntem dedicați oferirii de sesiuni de îndrumare în limba engleză gratuite, personalizate, individuale săptămânal pentru studenții internaționali cu venituri mici. Oferim sesiuni virtuale în fiecare week-end prin Google Meet sau Zoom cu excelenții noștri tutori studenți Simbata seara sau Duminica dupamasa (ora noastră este cu 7 ore mai devreme). Clasele 9-12

Sesiune virtuală săptămânală de o oră

Dacă sunteți interesați, aplicați pentru a crea o AAH! secție locală pentru liceul tău! Vei face parte din misiunea noastră de a ajuta studenții cu venituri mici, imigranți și refugiați pentru a-i spori în drumurile lor academice. AAH! va fi acolo pentru tine la fiecare pas al drumului pentru a construi o comunitate școlară.

Odată ce înregistrarea capitolului vostru local este completă și aprobată de echipa noastră, veți primi un e-mail de confirmare în termen de 7-10 zile lucrătoare.
